If you are considering building your own shed then there are some things you need to take into consideration first.

1- Do you have the time available?

If youre not in a hurry to get your shed right away, then its okay to go ahead and build it yourself. Depending on your ability to work efficiently and on the amount of time you dedicate to this project, it can take days or even weeks to build your own shed. Keep this in mind.

2- Do you have the space and tools to construct your shed?

Building your own shed requires that you have space to construct it, especially when its still in the building phase. Its okay for a shed to be outside once its varnished and protected, but if you leave unprotected wood outside and it rains, then its not going to be very good for your shed.

Also, you need a variety of tools like saws, hammers, chisels, screwdrivers, drills etc. Do you already have these tools or have access to them? If not, be prepared to spend some money to bbuy these tools.

3- Do you have a plan?

If you want to build a shed, you either need to be an experienced craftsman or woodworker, or you need to have some sort of shed plans guide or blueprint that you can follow where you get exact step by step instructions of what materials you need to buy, and how to transform them to be able to build your own shed.
